A Donation from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in Alexandria, VA
From July 2004 to February 2005, Greater Washington Chapter 353, MOPH and Greater Washington Unit 353, LAMOPH received a weekly donation of 12 dozens of fresh glazed doughnuts from Krispy Kreme store in Alexandria, VA. Every Wednesday, Chapter 353 Junior Vice Commander and Service Officer Chris Harl delivered these very home-like treats to returning wounded and injured OEF/OIF military services members treated in transit at Malcolm Grow Medical Center at Andrews Air Force Base (AAFB), MD.
