U.S. Army First Lieutenant Dewayne White speaks at the Purple Heart Day Ceremony in Mount Vernon, VA, on August 7, 2004. He is a veteran of Operations Joint Endeavor and Joint Guard in Bosnia and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in Iraq where he received his Purple Heart. Patriot Dewayne is a Life member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) and Sergeant-At-Arms of Greater Washington Chapter 353. MOPH Chapter 353 is a host of the annual ceremonies in honor of the National Purple Heart Day in Mount Vernon.
