On September 8, 2006, the MOPH Department of Virginia Commander Steve Cobb presented the MOPH Distinguished Service Award to Chief Warrant Officer Marc Creak of the Marine Liaison Office. For over two years, CWO Creak was meeting every flight with returning wounded and injured OIF/OEF troops at Andrews Air Force Base (AAFB) in Maryland and taking care of them during their in-transit medical treatment at Malcolm Grow Medical Center (MGMC).
