Greater Washington Chapter 353 made a donation of $478 in VAVS funds received from the MOPH Department of Virginia to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Washington, DC for social programs for OIF/OEF veterans and their families. MOPH Chapter 353 Commander Steve Cobb (right) presents the donation check to the VAMC Director Sanford Garfunkel (center), while President of the Ladies' Auxiliary Unit 353 Tanya Cobb looks on. Greater Washington Unit 353 donated various magazines, Purple Heart pocket calendars and bookmarks, and America's Quest for Freedom brochures to the VAMC Voluntary Service.
