"Honor Our Heroes" Parties

For several years, Helping Our Heroes Foundation hosted "Honor Our Heroes" parties at the Old Red Cross Building on the grounds of Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) in Washington, DC. Patriots of Greater Washington Chapter 353, MOPH and Ladies of Greater Washington Unit 353, LAMOPH participated in and supported these special monthly events for recovering Operations Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Enduring Freedom (OEF) veterans and their families.
Eight members of John Lyon VFW Post #3150 and its Ladies Auxiliary from Arlington, VA, including Jennifer Fristoe (left) and Catherine Graham (second from left), joined our Operation "Welcome Home" Project Coordinators Tanya Cobb (second from right) and Steve Cobb (right) for a "Honor Our Heroes" party. They brough fresh fruits, new magazines, VFW "Operation Uplink" prepaid phone cards, and other gifts for wounded and injured OIF/OEF troops and their families.
